We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Search Manager to lead our content marketing agency's search and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) and be able to manage a team of experts to drive traffic and conversions for our clients, as well as test new search-oriented initiatives and channels such as YouTube.

About the position:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive search and marketing strategy that aligns with our clients' goals and objectives
- Lead and represent the search team across the organization and oversee account performance
- Pitch potential clients on Google Ads channels including Search, Discovery, and Video
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and growth to improve search engine rankings, increase website traffic, and drive conversions
- Hands on experience with search bidding, website tracking, competitive monitoring, and reporting platforms
- Monitor and report on search performance metrics to continually optimize and improve our search strategy
- Develop and manage search and marketing budgets to maximize ROI
- Collaborate with our content creation team to ensure content is optimized for search engines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the effectiveness of our search and marketing efforts
- Build relationships with internal account teams and external partners, such as publishers and influencers, to amplify our search and marketing reach
- Test new channels associated with SEM, i.e. YouTube
What you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field/similar experience
- 6+ years of experience in search engine optimization and search engine marketing, preferably in an agency setting
- Experience managing a team of SEO and SEM specialists is a plus
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Strong understanding of search engine optimization and search engine marketing best practices and experience with optimization and marketing across multiple channels and formats
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEMRush and other SEM tools
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search engines
- Bing search experience a plus
